That's right, Mouse Hunt!
If you skipped this because it looked like an idiotic kids' movie, too bad. It's an intelligent, even sophisticated piece of slapstick/fantasy, and it's very, very funny. The mouse being hunted is not given some sort of cutesy, cartoon personality. He has no more personality than you might reasonably expect a real mouse to have, which is to say he's deadpan. Given the situations, he often comes off as droll, which cannot be easy to accomplish for a mouse.
The human villains are not morons. More like victims of their own greed, and no match for the mouse, who eventually is seen to be a wicked synthesis of the Irresistible Force and the Immovable Object.
I laughed hysterically at this picture, and I happen to know one three-year-old who did too.
